Garang Heng

Uhrenburg's snapper at Garang Heng, Dive The World Thailand

This submerged reef lies 2 kilometres east of Phi Phi Leh and is not visited by Phuket diving boats.

It has large schools of yellowtail barracuda, twin-spotted sea perch, gold-striped fusiliers and blue-lined snapper.

The reef itself is predominantly soft coral, sea fans, large barrel sponges and magnificent anemones, plus there's a great chance you'll see leopard sharks too.
