Student comments: |
So happy I learned to control my buoyancy. Enjoyed 1:1 instruction. Big gain in confidence and comfort underwater.
Great dive sites, good variety of wildlife - nudibranchs, cuttlefish, sharks, scorpionfish. Heinz was an excellent instructor, very experienced, many excellent tips. We covered the material in a relaxed, yet attentive fashion. I am a more confident diver after the course. |

Instructor comments: |
David got exactly what he wanted from the course, improved buoyancy and confidence. Well done to him for focusing and achieving his goals.

Student comments: | Marco was very experienced and shared knowledge very well. Took a practical, pragmatic approach to the training.
Dive sites on 1st day were excellent, 2nd day not as good, Racha Noi was good but Racha Yai a bit scarce, but did see some interesting fish, just not as much volume. Communication with Dive The World prior to course was excellent and very grateful to have an instructor as experienced as Marco at short notice. All in all, very good. | |
Instructor comments: |
Student over these dives became just overall a better diver, starting to feel more comfortable approaching reef and fish life, buoyancy very good, awareness of environment and surroundings. Air consumption also improved.

Good instructor - instructions were clear and easy to understand.
Great dives, enjoyed them all, saw lots of marine life. Had a great time. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Had a good laugh with Karl, needed to work a little on buoyancy and air consumption during Advanced, we made some good inroads.

Student comments: |
The Open Water + Advanced courses were great. I learned a lot from my instructor Mike in a very short time frame. I enjoyed seeing a whole new world and can't wait to improve on the skills I have learned.
Throughout all the dive sites there was a large amount of marine life and it was a great opportunity to see so much in 3 days. I wish I could have seen a bit more but the marine life control their own lives, another time maybe. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Alvin was a great student, we were able to take him from a non-diver to an Advanced Open Water Diver in just 4 days, Alvin put in a great effort and it was done with ease.

I enjoyed most of my course, except for my brother disappearing.
Kingcruiser was probably the best out of the dives. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Air consumption a bit on the high side, but gradually improved as the course went on. Well done Tim.

I had an amazing time working with Dan again. I had some difficulty with the Underwater Navigation part of my Advanced Open Water dives, but after a brief discussion I was able to identify my mistake and continue through my course without difficulty.
King Cruiser Wreck dive was amazing, as were all the other sites - Phi Phi, Koh Doc Mai. Dan took the time to point out a sea snake and we even spotted a frogfish. Very cool!! Looking forward to making more dives towards the specialty diver in the future. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Slight problem on the navigation dive as mentioned above but otherwise becoming a very confident and skilled diver.
