Had issues with kit on first day, BCD inflator hose broken, reg mouthpiece broke on second dive.
Good facilities and organisation of trips. Lovely Thai curry!! Phi Phi Island was fantastic - by far the best. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Unfortunate to have rubber mouthpiece break off in mouth which caused a bit of a coughing fit, otherwise no problems or issues. Well done Kevin.

All good and fun diving.
Phi Phi great, visibility a bit poor second dive but saw a seahorse! |
|
Instructor comments: |
A bit of work had to be done on bouyancy, but this is exactly the kind of issue that the Advanced Open Water Diver irons out; improved a great deal by the end of the course. Congratulations Carolyn!

Excellent course, biggest hurdle was navigation; needed to concentrate on keeping kicks even.
Excellent dive sites, Koh Bida Nok (Phi Phi) was the best, seeing the turtle was the highlight of the day. 2nd day was a bit long, pity they [the boat] didn't leave earlier. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Visibility wasn't the best but made navigation exercises more fun (for me anyway!). Open water and advanced courses, both in 4 days. Very well done Angus!

Very enjoyable advanced dive course. Well organized with all the equipment onboard and ready when we were diving. Mike was an excellent instructor - very relaxed but full of knowledge and tips.
Sites were great - 1st wreck dive at King Cruiser (and smaller one at Racha Yai). First stingrays and cuttlefish. I unfortunately lost the underwater camera Mike had entrusted me with! How to make friends and influence people. Sorry Mike! |

Instructor comments: |
David was able to complete the Advanced Open Water with ease. Had a great 2nd day diving at Shark Point, King Cruiser and Koh Doc Mai.

Nothing negative, outstanding courses. |

Instructor comments: |
Errol became an Advanced Open Water Diver with ease over the 5 days, including 2 trips to Phi Phi and 2 trips to Racha Yai; Errol became very comfortable underwater. In those 10 dives we managed to find Seahorses, Blacktip Reef Sharks, Cuttlefish and Stingrays.

The course was fantastic. Thailand was the best place we could have done our advanced course. Mike, our instructor was fantastic; he was very knowledgable and proficient as a dive instructor.
All of the dive sites were fantastic. We saw Moray Eels, Barracuda, Rays, Blacktip Reef Sharks and other incredible marine life. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Alfredo and Crystal really enjoyed their time together underwater. It was great for me to watch them completing their advanced dive tasks together. Great fun; hope to see them back again.

Instructor always made sure that I was comfortable and confident with everything we covered. Whenever I felt a little anxious, he noticed immediately and was able to resolve the issue and calm me down immediately. It was very reassuring.
We saw Blacktip Reef Sharks, Lionfish and Sea Cucumbers. Sites were good. Felt very comfortable and safe with instructor. |

Instructor comments: |
Great Advanced Open Water course with Crystal and Alfredo. They made a great buddy team underwater, completing the navigation with little to no problem at all. They enjoyed being able to get some photos on the photography dive. I was very happy with them becoming advanced divers.

Great course! Instructor excellent at finding hidden fish, eels etc (and taking photos). Learnt lots about diving in this area. Taking the egg to 30m was cool!
Lots of leopard sharks! Stonefish, moray eel, banded sea snake and flying fish from boat! All good! |
|
Instructor comments: |
Very easy, great buoyancy and air consumption. Great fun for me!

Dive sites were great. Seeing lots of fish and sharks made me happy. Lack of turtles was sad. All good! |

Alwin was a great instructor. I had problems with buoyancy at the beginning and he taught me techniques so that I do buoyancy well by the second dive.
My favorite was a huge octopus that walked along the rocks and flashed from black to black with pulsating blue spots - wish I had a camera for that one! Saw eels, a tiny ray and many other fish. It's too bad the coral died but I'm glad to see it starting to come back. |

Great to see a student with a passion to dive.
