Great course, all went smoothly; great day.
Racha Noi was the better site with leopard shark and barracuda sighted at Camera Bay. |
|
Instructor comments: |
No problems, next time need to find a manta ray as well as a leopard shark!

Student comments: |
Instructor took safety as #1 priority, re-inforced rules repeatedly - greatly appreciated!
Sites included a mix of easy (no currents + sandy bottoms) with more complicated dives. Being able to do 5 boat dives gave real world experiences of what boat dives are all about. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Brian was focused and interested in what he was doing. He invested time doing homework and bought equipment to enjoy the experience more. When diving, Brian was relaxed and comfortable from the pool sessions through to the end of the course. No problems encountered for the duration of the course.

Justin, our instructor was knowledgeable, confident, and yet patient. He paid attention to small details to make me feel comfortable and gain skills at an incredible pace!! He's an awesome teacher!! It was encouraging to see how excited Justin was about the wildlife ... this built my excitement as well. I was nervous, but having an instructor like Justin eased my fears!!
The sites had plentiful wildlife, varying levels of depths for learning, and I enjoyed seeing lionfish, moray eels, jellyfish, seahorses, puffer fish and barracudas! I liked the gradient we are taken through in learning each dive. This helped me gain much needed confidence. Again, having Justin as an instructor, made the learning curve easier. Thanks Justin. |

Instructor comments: |
Very anxious at the start but made steady progress to become a very competent diver - well done, Jenny.

This course is one that I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to get scuba certified! (Definitely request for Justin to be your instructor though). Justin is a very big reason why I liked this course, as I think he is a very good instructor. I appreciated him to be so helpful in every way.
It was fantastic to have our course at such beautiful dive sties! The past 2 days did not see much. Than we saw puffer fish, seahorse, many clownfish and barracudas! If anyone wants to learn scuba diving. "Ask for Justin". |

Instructor comments: |
Took to diving very easily + confidently. But needs a leash to slow him down! Good work mate.

I thought the course was excellent. Very safe + instructive + the progression of the course made it very easy, rather than rushing through.
We saw many species of fish, eel, a turtle + an octopus. The dive sites were beautiful. Thanks for the experience - I feel like I got my money's worth! |
|
Instructor comments: |
No problems, stares into space a lot - disconcerting for the instructor!

I loved everything. I didn't really encounter any issues. Our instructor show us everything clearly which made everything easy to learn.
The dive sites were beautiful. We saw a stack of fish, an octopus and a turtle, plus coral and other plant life. The food provided was great too. |
|
Instructor comments: |
Again no problems, but had some bizarre conversations with Micah!

Really enjoyed the course, instructor was very knowledgeable and informative. Good course structure, no major problems. Good pace to learning the program. Instructor was very approachable and a good teacher.
Racha Yai - good starter dive but strong current. Trumpet fish, trigger fish, angel fish. Ko Phi Phi - very good visibility on Bida Nok + pleanty of marine life. Koh Doc Mai - poor visibility. |

Very good instructor and course. Felt comfortable throughout and not rushed at all. Very calm, very enjoyable and memorable.
Visited Racha Yai + Phi Phi - Koh Bida Nok/ Koh Bida Nai + Koh Doc Mai. Good coral, fish and general enviroment. No turtles or sharks which I hope is more of a water temperature issue than a conservation issue. I would recommend the course to beginners, good grounding and base for future diving. |

Enjoyable course!
