Justin was great - very patient when needed, let me feel like I was always in control of myself, especially when I was nervous about a skill, like breathing with out the mask.
Sites were amazing! So much reef fish, corals, saw a hawkbill turtle, sharks and a moray eel! |
|
Instructor comments: |
Nice easy course, not problems at all.

Very good instructor clear instructions through explanation and patient. With sense of humor, passionate about his job and diving; enthusiastic and easy approach.
Problems a sample of sunburn and anemone stings, thai vinegar may have helped! Will prepare to fear full lady suit the next time.
Racha Yai - Bungalow Bay is a good place to start as a beginner. Clear water, sandy bottom, interesting marine life such as white-eyed moray eel, a small octopus, lionfish, sting ray or plastic bags? Other beautiful fish! Phi Phi Islands dive sites are breathtaking! More variety of fish, sea creatures, clown fish, yellow boxfish, different starfish, banded sea snake, pipefish etc. Anemone Reef another sight - beautiful reef, amazing school of fish almost perfect except for the sting. Planning for more ... |

Instructor comments: |
Beryl had a few problems with buoyancy on her first couple of dives, but we put this down to gas! Apart from that no problems, well done Beryl!

Enjoyed course thoroughly. Instructor very good with clear instructions and patience. A good teacher. Great sense of humor and approachable. Had problems with seasickness when on surface of water due to big waves. Tried to keep head underwater to reduce worsening of it.
Dive sites appropriate to begin diving experience. Racha Yai - flat seabed for skills and enough beautiful marine life to marvel at. Saw octopus, giant moray eel, lots of beautiful and inquisitive fish. Phi Phi Island dive was clear - beautiful clown fish, boxfish, sea snake, more moray eels, seahorses. Anemone Reef - beds of anemone on a rock in the middle of nowhere love the clown fish teasing the anemone. |

Leona's only issues were with the buddy system! You're going to need a rope to hook her close to you, Beryl. Congratulations. Perfect on everything else.

I liked Phi Phi best. I saw a shark, a moray eel and a stingray + hundreds more. Thanks. You guys were awesome! |

I enjoyed the new world I got into. The way to breath under sea and all. The fish and other nice things under water. I have some problems with mask, getting water in it and that stuff, but when I take it easy it went fine.
First I was at Racha Yai - Bungalow Bay and I liked it very much. Clear water with good sight. I see some lion fish there, moray eel and sting ray. On my second day I was at Phi Phi Island and Palong Wall. There I saw some turtles, shrimps, nice fish and having a great time. My instructor was great all the time! |

Instructor comments: |
Good student - should be back for more some other time. Mask problems due to cold.

Instructor was very knowledgeable about diving and knew the dive sites very well.
Andy knew exactly what to do and where to look for good marine life.
I loved the fact that the instructor took care of me very well and I always felt comfortable and safe.
I also enjoyed the black tip shark that I got to see.
No problem at all.
The dive sites were amazing with a lot of marine life. As a first time diver, the instructor made me felt safe and comfortable. |
